Powder coating is a protective and decorative finish applied to metal or other conductive substrates by electrostatically spraying dry powder onto the surface, which is then cured in an oven. Powder coating is often used on metal parts in industries likeautomotive, aerospace, and furniture due to its resistance to chipping, fading, and scratching. It also offers superior chemical resistance and isenvironmentally friendly, with no solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released during application. The process maintains dimensional stability and precision without altering the part’s geometry.
