Manufacturing Standards

Tolerances for linear, angular dimension

  • Unless part drawing calls out a different tolerance, we follow ISO-2768 and use medium tolerance.

UNC and UNF Threads Tolerances

  • Unless part drawing calls out a different tolerance, we follow ISO-2768 and use medium tolerance.

Tolerances

Metric Thread Tolerances

  • Unless part drawing calls out a different tolerance, for Metric threads we follow ISO 965-1 for thread tolerances.
  • For internal threads – 5H for threads up to M1, 4 ; 6H for threads M1, 6 and above
  • For external threads – 6h for threads up to M1,4 ; 6g for threads M1,6 and above

Visual Inspection – Cosmetic and aesthetic quality

  • Visually consistent parts
  • Parts do not contain sharp edges and burrs
  • No unacceptable surface scratches
  • Consistent color across parts

Inspection

Inspection Reports

  • All orders will be shipped with an inspection report and corresponding balloon drawing. Customers can opt for a material test report and FAI inspection report at additional cost. Our sampling plan follows ASQ Z1.4 2008 Level II Cr:0 M:2.5 m:4.
  • To perform inspection, we use hand tools such as vernier, micrometer and various gauges. A CMM is used to inspect parts with complex features.

FAQs

Unlike platform-based models that outsource production and inspection to various machine shops, we maintain vertically controlled quality. This means every step—from material sourcing to final inspection—is managed in-house under a single, audited ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. You get consistent results, full traceability, and no finger-pointing between suppliers and platforms.

We use industry-leading technology to verify even the most complex parts:
Zeiss CONTURA CMM: For high-precision dimensional analysis and GD&T verification.
Keyence VR Series 3D Optical Scanners: For rapid, non-contact full-field scans and first-article inspections.
Nikon XT H 225 ST CT Scanner: For non-destructive internal defect detection and assembly analysis.
Calibrated Hand Tools: Mitutoyo micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges for essential checks.

Yes, we are experts in generating comprehensive AS9102-compliant First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and PPAP packages. This includes complete dimensional data, material certifications, and process documentation. This is a standard offering for aerospace, medical, and automotive projects.

Material integrity is the foundation of quality. We only source from approved and audited suppliers. Every material batch arrives with its own Mill Test Report (MTR), and we log its heat/lot number into our digital traveler system. This provides 100% traceability from the raw stock to your finished part, a level of detail often missing from platform-based manufacturing.

Our system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the scope of "Contract Manufacturing of Custom Mechanical Components." We also adhere to the stringent protocols of AS9100D (Aerospace) and ISO 13485 (Medical Devices), and our processes are designed to meet IATF 16949 (Automotive) and NADCAP (NDT) requirements.

Every order includes:
Certificate of Conformance (CoC)
Full Dimensional Inspection Report with actual measurements from hand tools or CMM.
Material Certification (MTR) traceable to a heat/lot number.
Visual Inspection Report with photos documenting surface finish and cosmetic quality.

For critical applications, we offer:
First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
PPAP Submission Kits (All Levels)
CT Scan Analysis Reports with void/porosity analysis.
Material Chemistry Reports via Spectrographic Analysis.
Full GD&T Reports with deviation color maps.

Our 15-Day Quality Guarantee ensures a rapid and effective resolution. Report any issue within 15 days of receipt, and our engineering team will perform a root cause analysis. We will immediately initiate a priority rework on calibrated equipment at no cost, including full reinspection and advanced reports. If rework is not viable, we offer a no-hassle refund.

Rework is initiated for any non-conformance to provided specifications, including dimensional errors, incorrect surface finish, or cosmetic defects. A refund is processed for fundamental issues like unmanufacturable designs (as proven by our DFM analysis) or irreversible material defects, or if the customer explicitly chooses a refund over rework.

Every non-conformance triggers our 8D Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process. We don't just fix the part; we fix the process. This involves containing the issue, determining the root cause, implementing permanent corrections, and systematically deploying these lessons across our production floor to prevent recurrence.
